AKMAX FILBE 1.0 Assault Pack is a compact 30L patrol pack with traditional sewn MOLLE/PALS webbing, developed for day missions, training loads, emergency equipment, dealer programs and project procurement.

FILBE Equipment Heritage
FILBE refers to the Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment. U.S. Marine Corps publications describe FILBE as a modular load-bearing family developed to replace the earlier ILBE system and improve integration with fielded body armor. The official USMC Pack configuration included a main pack with external frame, an assault pack, assault pouch, hydration components and sustainment pouches.
The assault pack’s role within that system was to provide a smaller, detachable load option for short-duration requirements. This system approach—separating the main load, assault load, hydration and sustainment components—is especially relevant to institutional buyers who need scalable equipment rather than one fixed backpack.
AKMAX 1.0 Development
“FILBE 1.0” is AKMAX’s commercial model designation, not an official U.S. Marine Corps version number. The 1.0 model preserves the traditional sewn MOLLE/PALS format. The separate AKMAX FILBE 2.0 model modernizes the exterior with laser-cut attachment panels.
