Both parties agree that, following order dispatch, transportation is the sole responsibility of the third-party logistics company. During this stage, full ownership of the product(s) belongs to the buyer; all associated liability and risks during transportation shall be borne by the buyer.

AKMAX is not responsible for late deliveries on special occasions such as birthdays or other events. We encourage our customers to place their order in advance to ensure there is enough time to receive their item.

  1. Prices

All prices are inclusive of VAT and other taxes (where applicable) at the applicable rate and are correct at the time of entering the information on to the system. If for some reason we are unable to ship your goods, the value of the items that are not shipped will be refunded to the original method of payment.

All prices on the Akmax website are in US Dollars.

We may provide you with access to third-party payment gateways such as PayPal. These services are not under our control and are not maintained by Akmax.shop.

You agree to read the terms and conditions governing your selected payment gateway prior to facilitating any transactions through them.

  1. Shipping

The articles you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order.Your package will normally be dispatched on the same or next business day after cleared payment.

We always confirm via email that your Item has been shipped.

If the goods are not delivered on the date expected you should notify us of such non-delivery within 28 days of the dispatch date.

If you wish return/exchange any of your articles, you may only do so in accordance with our returns policy.

Akmax shall not be held responsible for the delay in shipment or non-delivery of the goods due to war, earthquake, serious flooding, fire and other Force majeure causes agreed by both parties. However, Akmax shall advise the Buyers by fax/telex immediately of such occurrence and within fourteen days thereafter, shall send by airmail to the Buyers for their acceptance a certificate issued by the competent authorities of the place where the accident occurred as evidence thereof. Under such circumstances Akmax, however, is still under the obligation to take all necessary measures to hasten the delivery of the goods. In case the late delivery exceeds ten weeks, the Buyers shall have the right to cancel this Contract.

  It shall be understood that our obligations deriving from the Terms or other contracts are suspended during the period in which Force Majeure remains in effect and we will be given an extension of the period in which to fulfil these obligations by an amount of time equal to the time that the situation of Force Majeure lasted. We will provide all reasonable resources to end the situation of Force Majeure or to find a solution that enables us to fulfil our obligations by virtue of the Terms or other contracts despite the situation of Force Majeure.
