AKMAX Pathfinder is a simple single-pole bivy shelter designed around fast setup, compact field carry and enclosed insect protection.

Unlike the AKMAX Compact Bivy Tent with a TPU viewing window, Pathfinder uses a straightforward protective shell with integrated mosquito mesh and does not include a transparent TPU stargazing window.

AKMAX Product Design

Pathfinder is an AKMAX commercial bivy-tent configuration developed for users who need a lightweight individual shelter with fewer structural parts than a conventional tent. Its defining feature is the simplified single-pole support, which creates head-area space while keeping setup and packing straightforward.

The shell uses a coated technical fabric of the same general type used for AKMAX MSS-style bivy covers. It is intended to provide a weather-resistant protective layer around a compatible sleeping bag and sleeping pad. It is not presented as genuine GORE-TEX® fabric, U.S. government-issued equipment, military surplus or an officially adopted military shelter.

Use on prepared ground where possible. Check the ground for sharp objects, secure the supplied stakes appropriately and maintain ventilation to help manage condensation.
