AKMAX Skywalker 55L External-Frame Rucksack
A modernized AKMAX development based on the U.S. MOLLE Medium Rucksack layout. Skywalker retains the established external-frame architecture and core pack structure, while redesigning the external modular system and auxiliary pouches for buyers who require a more specialized, configurable field platform.
Design Origin: AKMAX Skywalker Modification
The U.S. MOLLE Medium Rucksack served as the design baseline. AKMAX retained the external pack frame and the principal rucksack structure, then introduced three functional changes:
- Laser-cut modular suspension/attachment structure: replaces selected conventional stitched-webbing areas with a lower-profile laser-cut layout for compatible modular attachment.
- Two hard-shell medical auxiliary pouches: the two side auxiliary pouches are redesigned as structured medical-purpose pouches to help organize and protect compatible contents.
- Detachable front auxiliary pouch: the front pouch can be separated from the main pack for configuration flexibility and independent organization.
These are AKMAX commercial modifications. The Skywalker is not represented as original government issue, an official U.S. military Skywalker model, military adoption, or compliance with a particular government contract specification.
Equipment Lineage: MOLLE Medium Rucksack
The U.S. Army’s Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) concept uses rucksacks, assault packs, hydration equipment and compatible pouches as configurable load-carriage components. The Skywalker carries this modular equipment lineage forward through an AKMAX-developed medium external-frame configuration.

Standard Configuration
- 55L-class main rucksack: medium-capacity field and outdoor load platform.
- External pack frame: retains the external-frame support arrangement of the design baseline.
- Padded shoulder harness and waist belt: adjustable suspension components for the standard configuration.
- Laser-cut modular areas: provide compatible attachment points with a lower-profile construction.
- Two structured hard-shell medical-purpose side pouches: supplied as auxiliary storage modules.
- Detachable front pouch: supports alternate pack configurations and separated carry.
- Available colors: Camouflage, Digital Desert Camo, Coyote and Multi-Terrain Camo, subject to stock.
Medical Pouch & Configuration Notice
“Medical-purpose pouch” describes the intended organizational configuration of the two structured auxiliary pouches. Medical supplies, IFAK contents and regulated medical devices are not included unless expressly listed in the quotation and bill of materials. The pouches are not represented as certified protective medical cases, waterproof medical containers or government-issued medical kits.

Capacity is a commercial nominal class. Fabric, laser-cut laminate, hard-shell material, frame, webbing, buckles, pouch attachment, dimensions, water resistance and load performance must be confirmed against the selected variant, approved sample, bill of materials and agreed test method before bulk procurement.
