AKMAX Iraklis 90L Hunting & Load-Shelf External-Frame Rucksack
An AKMAX-developed 90L external-frame carrying system designed around hunting freighter-frame and load-shelf pack principles. Iraklis combines a large removable-style rucksack body, rigid external support, padded suspension and a folding cargo shelf for buyers who need to organize bulky field, hunting or expedition loads.
Design Origin: AKMAX Iraklis Load-Carrying System
Iraklis is an AKMAX original commercial product. Its development draws on two established ideas:
- ALICE and MOLLE external-frame load carriage: the external support and hip-transfer approach influenced the suspension concept.
- Hunting freighter-frame and shelf packs: the folding lower shelf was developed for securing bulky or irregular equipment outside the normal rucksack volume.
The product is not a reproduction of a specific ALICE or MOLLE model and is not represented as original government issue, military adoption, search-and-rescue certification or compliance with a particular government contract specification.
Key Configuration
- 90L-class rucksack body: large-capacity storage for organized hunting, expedition, outdoor and project loads.
- External freighter-style frame: provides rigid support and connects the pack body to the padded carry system.
- Folding lower load shelf: supports separately secured bulky equipment when configured and lashed correctly.
- Padded shoulder harness and wide waist belt: adjustable components intended to distribute the carried load through the suspension system.
- MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing: accepts compatible pouches and accessories within the available attachment area.
- Ripstop fabric: grid-reinforced construction intended to help limit the spread of small tears; it is not cut-proof or puncture-proof.
