Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) was developed as an integrated, configurable load system for Marines and Sailors. Hydration equipment formed part of the wider load-carriage concept alongside the main rucksack and smaller assault-load components.

Compatibility & Specification Control
The supplied bladder and tube form the standard listed set. Compatibility with replacement or third-party bladders is not universal; buyers should confirm bladder dimensions and shape, hose-port direction, closure, rear attachment layout and shoulder-strap configuration before substituting components.
Final fabric, coating, color, bladder material, hose specification, labels, packaging and inspection requirements are controlled by the approved sample, quotation and bill of materials.
