AKMAX Self-Inflating Ground Mat — a compact valve-operated sleeping pad supplied as a standalone product or as a component in selected ALICE Carry & Sleep Field Kits.
The foam-core mat begins expanding when unrolled and the valve is opened. Users may adjust firmness manually, then open the valve during rolling to expel air for transport. It is available for individual replacement orders, outdoor retail, wholesale programs and configured project kits.
Product-family relationship
This mat is offered with selected AKMAX ALICE Medium, ALICE Large and ALICE NP field-kit configurations. It is not a historical component of the original U.S. military ALICE specification; “ALICE” on this page describes its use within AKMAX’s commercial ALICE product family.
