AKMAX FILBE Main Pack is an 80L-class external-frame rucksack configuration for extended field loads, replacement procurement, tactical distributors and customized equipment projects.

Listed Main-Pack Configuration

This page is for the main rucksack and its pictured carrying components—not the complete three-piece FILBE system.

  • 80L-class main rucksack
  • External polymer frame
  • Padded shoulder harness and adjustable sternum support
  • Load-bearing waist belt
  • Traditional MOLLE/PALS attachment webbing
  • Exterior sustainment/utility pouches as pictured and confirmed in the order specification
  • Not included: detachable assault pack
  • Not included: hydration carrier or hydration bladder

For project orders, the final pouch count, frame, harness, belt, materials and packing list are controlled by the approved sample, quotation and purchase documents.

Key Features

  • 80L-class multi-day capacity: intended for high-volume field, training, emergency and expeditionary equipment.
  • External-frame load transfer: the polymer frame separates the load structure from the bag and transfers weight through the harness and waist belt.
  • Modular organization: MOLLE/PALS attachment and exterior pouches support scalable equipment layouts.
  • Component-based procurement: appropriate for replacement of a main pack or construction of a complete system from separately specified components.
  • Two listed color variants: Multi-Terrain Camouflage and OCP, subject to inventory and project confirmation.

FILBE Equipment Heritage

FILBE means Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment. U.S. Marine Corps documentation describes the USMC Pack as the replacement for the earlier ILBE field pack, whose integration with fielded body armor was identified as a limitation. The official system used a main pack with an external frame together with an assault pack, assault pouch, hydration components and sustainment pouches.

This equipment lineage established a modular procurement principle: a large framed main load, a smaller assault load and separately configurable hydration and sustainment components. That architecture remains useful for buyers who need standardized systems, spare components and mission-specific configurations.

AKMAX Commercial Configuration

This product applies the FILBE-style external-frame and modular load-system concept to an AKMAX commercial 80L-class main pack. It can be purchased independently or specified with compatible AKMAX assault-pack and hydration components as a coordinated project package.

Wholesale & Project Procurement

AKMAX supports samples, small batches, repeat wholesale orders and project quantities. Available discussions may include color, fabric, webbing, frame and suspension configuration, labels, branding, packaging, inspection and shipping documentation.
