This is an independent Olive Drab kit with its own SKU. It combines the AKMAX ALICE NP’s expanded main compartment and five-pocket exterior layout with a complete external-frame carrying system and a compact ground-sleeping component.
Design origin and equipment lineage
ALICE stands for All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, a U.S. military load-carrying system adopted in 1973. Its external frame, replaceable harness components and organized exterior storage provide the design lineage for this product family.
AKMAX NP distinction: ALICE NP is an AKMAX commercial five-pocket adaptation, not an original U.S. government “NP” model and not the ALICE ARVN Ranger Pack. The self-inflating mat is an additional AKMAX kit component and was not part of the historical ALICE specification.
